My recent stay at Saxon Lodge was nothing short of magical, thanks to the warm hospitality of hosts Caron and Dave, who truly make you feel at home. Nestled above Gansbaai harbor, the lodge offers breathtaking views that complement the well-appointed rooms, which are designed for comfort with flat-screen TVs and cozy furnishings. The complimentary Wi-Fi made it easy to share our incredible adventures, while the inviting bar/lounge area became our nightly retreat for drinks, laughter, and the charming stories shared by both staff and fellow guests. The location is ideal for those eager to explore, with hiking trails just a stone's throw away and superb recommendations for local excursions readily provided. Every aspect of our stay felt thoughtful, making it a delightful value for money experience. If you're considering a trip to South Africa, I can't recommend Saxon Lodge enough-it's a gem that should not be missed!
